Cellist Andrej Petrač graduated from the Ljubljana Academy of Music and continued his postgraduate studies at the Stuttgart High School of Music with Antonio Janigro, to whom he later become assistant. He is cello leader of the Slovene Philharmonic and artistic director of the Chamber Orchestra of the Slovene Philharmonic, with whom he has toured extensively. Andrej Petrač has held many master courses in his own country and abroad and is also engaged as professor at the Zagreb Academy of Music.
