 Léonie Adams studied with Igor Sitnikov in Moscow, was a prize winner at the Royal College of Music and a postgraduate scholar at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She was also awarded full scholarships to the prestigious Santander Academy to study with Natalia Gutman and Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi in 2006, and the TSMAF with Janos Starker in 2007. Léonie was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra and has been a concerto soloist across Europe with performances including the Schumann Concerto with the Luxembourg Philharmonia, and Bruch’s Kol Nidrei, Elgar and Haydn C major in the UK. Léonie is currently based in London and has worked as No.2 with the Philharmonia Orchestra, No.3 with RTÉ Concert Orchestra and No.4 with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and has trialed for No.3 Sub-Principal with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
