Born in Tarragona in 1985, begins the music studies at the age of 9 in the Conservatory of Tarragona with Rodolfo Zanni and Christian Florea (cello, chamber music and orchestra).

At the age of 14 won the first price of the Conservatory of Tarragona Competition for young students, playing as a soloist the double concerto of Vivaldi with the Tarragona’s Symphony Orchestra.
In 2001 is finalist in the 1st Competiton of Young Talents in Spain representing Catalunya.
In 2001 played the 2nd sonata for cello and piano of Beethoven in the Pau Casals Auditorium. The same year he plays, together with the teachers of the faculty of violin and piano, the winner composition of the Contemporary Competition in Tarragona.
In 2003 is invited to play as a soloist, the Haydn Cello concerto in C-dur with the Tarragona’s Symphony Orchestra, appearing in Pau Casals Auditorium, Teatre Fortuny, Auditori “La Caixa” of Tarragona and Auditorium of Amposta.
In 2005 gets the 2nd prize in the chamber music competition Arjau, with the “Duo Martinu” (piano/cello) playing the variations of Martinu on a Rossini’s theme.
In 2006 made his debut in the Teatre Metropol with the pianist Miquel Villalba, playing the 5th Suite for solo cello of J.S.Bach, 3rd sonata for piano and cello of Beethoven and the Sonata for cello and piano in Em of J.Brahms. This concert belonged to the “Jeuneses Musicales”series of concerts in Spain.
In August of 2006 he played the 3rd cello sonata for piano and cello of Beethoven, in the Kleiner Saal of the Mozarteum in the Master classes (Salzburg).
In February of 2007 won with the “Martinu Ensemble” the 2nd Prize in the Montserrat Alavedra’s chamber music Competition and the Audience Prize.

In 2003 he entered in Amsterdam Conservatory and in Barcelona’s High School of Music. Studied 4 years in Barcelona with the teachers Damian Martinez (cello), Ysaye Quartet (chamber music), Charles Tunnel (chamber music) and Quartet Casals (chamber music). In 2007 got the Diplom with the A mark.
Since October 2007 is studying in the Hochschule für Musik und Kunst in Frankfurt, with the teachers Michael Sanderling and Daniel-Robert Graf (cello), Prof. Buchberger and Frau Merkle (chamber musik).

Has been active student in different master classes: 2003/04 Master class with Laurence Lesser in Barcelona. 2003/04 Master classes in Vendrell (Auditori Pau Casals) with Lluis Claret and Bernard Greenhouse. 2004/05 Master classes with Daniel Grosgurin in Barcelona. 2004-2006 Master classes with Leonid Gorokhov in Vila-Seca. 2005 Meisterkurse in Lübeck in the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival with Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi. 2006 Meisterkurse in Salzburg Musik Festival with Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi. 2006 Master classes in Kronberg with Bernard Greenhouse. 2007 Master class in Kronberg with Janos Starker.

Never less, he has been very interested in the chamber music life, doing a series of concerts around Spain with the “Quintet Xenakis” (clarinet quintet), playing the Mozart and Brahms quintet at the same time playing the premiere of different pieces of young composers of the High School of music in Barcelona.
He has a duo (violin/cello) with the young violinist Christian Torres with whom has perform repertory from the classics until “rag-times” and jazz pieces. Also both has a string quartet called “Quartet Adorno”.

At the moment he is working in a very ambitious project with the “Martinu Ensemble” ( www.martinuensemble.com ), that is coming from 3 years ago and has a continuity in the future.

Since he begun to play cello has been participating in youth orchestras like the Tarragona’s Conservatory Orchestra as principal and soloist (1996-2002). JONC, Youth Orchestra of Catalunya as principal (2000-2003). JONDE, Youth Orchestra of Spain as principal (2003-2007). Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival Orchestra (2004). IRO, Interregional Young Orchestra as co-principal (2005). EUYO, European Youth Orchestra (2005 in the waiting list). Orchestra of the High School of Barcelona as principal (2005-2007) Orchestra of the Hochschule für Musik of Frankfurt as principal (2008).
Has worked with known conductors: Christopher Hogwood, Andrew Parrot, Ros Marba, Salvador Brotons, G.Pelivanian, Lutz Koller, Valery Gergiev, etc.
