Galiaskar Bigashev is the son of professional cellists and began to play cello aged five at Uspensky, a specialist music school. After master classes in Moscow and St.Petersburgh and graduating from Tashkent State Conservatory with the highest honours, Galiaskar undertook postgraduate studies whilst playing as a chamber ensemble musician.
In 2003-2005 Galiaskar studied on the Postgraduate Diploma and Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in performance at Trinity College of Music, London and from 2005-2006 took IPS course of study, in the same institution leading to FTCL. During study he won several major prizes and awards.

Galiaskar is a former member of Bomond Piano Trio. The trio was awarded First Prize in the "Beethoven Piano society of Europe" Chamber Music Competition 2005 held at Steinway Hall in London and also won both the First Prize and Audience Prize in the "Cavatina" Chamber Music Competiton at TCM in London. "Bomond" Piano Trio has performed through England, Wales and Jersey.

Mr. Bigashev merits on teaching fields are in his students achievements. In 2007 three of his cello students received the First Price and Honourably Diplomas at Republican contest for young musician named "Artistic Buds" in co-operation and support For the "New Generation" charitable found, "Composers Union" of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Mr. Bigashev career to date includes teaching, solo and chamber recitals and playing with a variety of orchestras as the soloist and principal cellist. He has worked and played concerts, recitals, competitions and master classes in Uzbekistan, Russia, Thailand, Egypt, South Africa, Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Italy, Canada, UK, Spain and Ireland.
