Cellist Pawel Panasiuk, born in Poland, received his Master's Degree from The Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music, Warsaw. He furthered his studies at the Trinity College of Music in London where he received his Postgraduate Diploma. He has also attended and participated in various masterclasses e.g. with Tobias Kühne, Wanda Glowacka, Michael Strauss and Victoria Yagling. Mr. Panasiuk has given solo concerts and appeared with numerous orchestras and chamber ensembles e.g. in Poland, UK and Iceland. Since 1999 Mr. Panasiuk resides in Iceland teaching the cello and chamber music. He is the principal cellist of the North Iceland Symphony Orchestra and has also appeared as a soloist with the orchestra. |
