Montserrat Colomé graduated with a Masters Degree in June 2009 from the Royal Academy of Music where she was generously supported by Jean Rhys Ltd. Sponsorship.
At the RAM Montse studied with the renowned baroque cellist Jennifer Ward-Clarke and she previously studied with Catherine Rimer and Alexander Boyarsky at the RCM. She has played in masterclasses for prominent musicians including David Watkin, Joe Crouch, Catherine MacIntosh, Elisabeth Wallfisch, Adrian Butterfield, Rachel Podger and she also studied the viol with Richard Campbell.
She has played with European Baroque Consort, European New Opera, Charivari Agréable, Jeune Orchestre Atlantique (JOA) and European Baroque Academy of Ambronay (EBA). She has also performed as a soloist in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
